Andres is a registered Architect and Urban Designer with over 20 years of experience in Australia and overseas. For the majority of his career, Andres has worked as a Design Architect within leading National and Multi-National Architectural firms including Woods Bagot, Hassell and RotheLowman. Andres’ diverse skills have also been thoroughly tested across the different industry sectors with projects ranging significantly in type, scale and budget. He has worked across a wide range of typologies including: high-density residential, single residential dwellings, public and commercial buildings, major high-rise developments and urban design and master planning.

As founder and Design Director of Design Strategy Architecture, Andres combines creative design thinking with a highly hands-on approach to create buildings with character. He strives to listen and lead with ideas to motivate and inspire the client and the team to deliver successful design outcomes.

His ideas are grounded in understanding context, clients brief and user experience so that the buildings are meaningful and make positive contributions to their public realm. As an Architect and Urban Designer, Andres aims to bring forward the experiential attributes that make a place memorable and attractive. He strongly believes that multi-disciplinary integration and strategic thinking can create projects that have a strong vision, capable of producing outcomes of multi-generational value and re imagine the ever-evolving nature of our cities.
